Ethics Approval and Ethical Compliance

The Journal of European Internal Medicine Professionals (JEIMP) requires that all research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data complies with internationally accepted ethical standards.

For studies involving human participants, authors must obtain approval from an appropriate institutional or national ethics committee prior to the commencement of the study. The name of the ethics committee, approval date, and reference number must be clearly stated in the manuscript.

For studies involving animals, authors must confirm compliance with internationally recognized animal welfare guidelines and provide details of the relevant ethical approval.

For retrospective studies or studies exempt from ethics committee approval, authors must explicitly state the reason for exemption and cite the applicable regulation or institutional policy.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to request official ethics approval documentation at any stage of the review or publication process. Failure to comply with ethical requirements may result in rejection or retraction of the manuscript.
