Acceptance

Acceptance, Production, and Publication Process

Following completion of the editorial evaluation and double-blind peer review process, manuscripts that are accepted for publication are formally approved by the editorial leadership of the Journal of European Internal Medicine Professionals (JEIMP). The corresponding author is notified of the decision through an official acceptance letter sent via email.

Production and Proofing

After acceptance, accepted manuscripts enter the production phase. The journal’s production team prepares a final PDF proof, which includes a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and standard journal formatting. Page numbers may not be assigned at this stage, depending on the publication schedule.

The corresponding author is invited to review the final proof for accuracy, completeness, and typographical corrections within a specified time frame (typically within 72 hours). Authors are expected to carefully check the proof and communicate any necessary corrections within this period.

If no response is received within the allotted time, the editorial office may proceed with publication to avoid unnecessary delays, assuming no substantive changes are required. Any author-initiated modifications approved during the proofing stage are documented, and all authors are informed accordingly.

Publication Timeline

JEIMP is committed to an efficient and transparent editorial workflow while maintaining rigorous peer review standards.

  • The average time from complete submission to editorial decision is approximately 2–4 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the extent of revisions required.

  • The average time from acceptance to online publication is approximately up to 8 weeks, including production, proofing, and scheduling.

These timeframes represent typical processing periods and may vary based on manuscript type, revision complexity, and editorial workload.
